Serialised OPML

Just a placeholder post this one, to a leave a 'note to self' to take the serialised feeds idea a step further and look at producing a serialised OPML scheduler that will take an OPML file and release top level OPML nodes/directories according to a user specified schedule.

The generalised version should also be able to support:

- nested scheduling that will further schedule the release of the contents of subfolders (so for example I could define monthly scheduled folders containing weekly scheduled ones); and

- sub-scheduling, where feedcycled RSS feeds are automatically generated within an OPML folder (so for example when an OPML folder is published, it might contain feedcycles whose schedule/start time is dependent on the release date of the OPML folder that contains it).

Todd, you interested in bouncing some ideas around relating to this?

Just want to say that I really appreciate the kind of stuff you're doing. If you're interested in releasing feeds on a particular date (or range of dates) then Dabble DB is ace -- I use it for distributing seminar info, for example. Provided your data is public, there is a freebie option.

Sounds interesting, but I'm not sure I have a good enough grasp of what you can do with OPML. Can you give a basic usage scenario?
