deliSearch Widget on widgetbox

Keeping up the deliSearch momentum prompted by my previous post on embedding deliSearch in a delicious links page, here's a way of embedding deliSearch in your own blog using a deliSearch widget:

The widget shows a list of links corresponding to a feed from a particular tag combination on a particular delicous user account. A quety can be entered into the search box and applied over the pages listed in the corresponding bookmark feed, or the domains those pages are served from.

I opted to distribute the deliSearch widget through widgetbox, which presents the user with a customisation panel prior to download that allows you to customise the settings of the widget:

You can download the deliSearch widget here.

A second widget (pending - tag aware deliSearch widget) will make use of the widgetbox tag awareness tool, which will extract tag information from a blog page and pass it automatically to the widget.

My intention here is to allow users to tag blog posts in such a way that the tag aware deliSearch widget can automatically make use of tag information embedded in a blog post to pull in the correct delicious feed for deliSearch.

If you download the deliSearch widget and try it out on your own pages, I'd appreciate hearing how you get on with it (and with widgetbox), and the use cases you're putting to :-)
