OU New Library Books Bookshelf
Having got Bill Scott's YUI Carousel extension working with JSON fed data here, I thought I should try to use it to display OU Library new books data, for which there are more than a few feeds available.
For a change, I thought I'd try and handle this user some server scripts to consume the feed, so I built the demo at Ning, which I've been meaning try out for some time.

As well as pulling book cover info in, and offering a link back to the OU Voyager catalogue entry for each item, if you hover over the cover art for a book, the app will pull in the book desctiption (if available) from Syndetics, (who also provide the cover art).
