Whenever I have to email people directions for a meeting, say, or other gathering, I tend to use an Easy Peasy Google Maps Label.
These are easy enough to generate if you're an everyday URL hacker, but mulling over the question of who web 2.0 is for I realised that not everyone is necessarily comfortable doing this. So here's my Google Maps labelled location URL generator...
