OU Bloggers - At a Glance

Yesterday, I was part of a DigiLab session on HE institutional blogging. Martin gave a good presentation on why people should be blogging (ThOU Shalt Blog; the presentation should be is on Slideshare anytime):

I rambled about some of the technology around blogs:

- readers: Bloglines;
- blog publishing/editors: Blogger(Wordpress was mentioned too);
- productivity tools: Scribefire;
- ranking/linking: Technorati;
- syndication/stats: Feedburner;
- comment tracking: CoComment;
- tagcloud navigation: Zoomclouds.

Mulling over how we could promote 'access' to people blogging about OU issues, I thought I'd add a tab to the OUseful Pageflakes site:

Just go to the OUseful dashboard, select the OU Bloggers tab and you'll get an overview of blogs from people who blog regularly on OU related issues.
