Increasingly, I've found I'm using my delicious social bookmarking accounts as simple place for collecting resources that I can then annotate with 'functionally useful' tags - such as geotags that let me plot feed items onto a Google or Yahoo map.
But as I find I want to do more and more from my delicious account, I think I need to look around to see what's been happening (if anything) in the emergence of 'semantic' tagging standards. Here are my starting points:
As it's been some time since I looked round the state of the art in terms of social bookmarking services, I also need to do a quick survey to see whether any of the services are offering 'structured bookmarking' forms that facilitate the data entry of structured tags (if not, I guess I need to write some bookmarklets;-)
So, if you of any services that already support structured bookmarking, please drop me a line...
