Okay - so here's my pick up on blog tag from John Tropea...

1. I'm an information junky, and subscribe to far more feeds than I could sensibly keep up with if I did my day job properly ;-)


2. I once ran a company ("Drayhouse Promotions Ltd") promoting bands - when we formed the company we said to ourselves we knew we'd have made it if we ever promoted Hawkwind. As promoters, we were offered two big bands early on in our 'career' - Hawkwind and Nirvana. Of course, we booked Hawkwind and lost a bundle. Nirvana immediately released Nevermind and went huge...


3. I'm a fan of the Luddite cause (Luddism was big in Marsden, near Huddersfield, where I was brought up). The Luddites were the skilled workers of their time, rebelling against technologies that deskilled their craft.


4. Close friends since 1987 all call me Monty (it's not a very long story: anagram('tony')+'m').


5. My top five, err, cultural things, are maybe Labyrinths, the art of Yves Tanguy, Appetite for Destruction, An Inspector Calls, Brautigan.

And as such is this game of tag, Brautigan leads into the first person I'll tag - who introduced me to Brautigan: Andy Theyers, thence John Naughton, Graham Attwell, Marc Eisensdtadt and Brian Lamb (who hasn't been posting much of late?).
