RSS Ripples Within the OU...
For some time, I've been looking round the OU for signs of RSS being used to publish and syndicate information, both administratively, and in the context of course delivery.
Here's a quick summary of what I've found to date (note that it's not necessarily complete...).
Public Feeds

Intranet Feeds
- OU Life Intranet news feed.
Authenticated/Password Protected feeds
- Faculty of Technology Phoenix/First Class conference feeds available frpm subscribed to conferences (with personal login details passed via URL). An RSS read-only user can also be subscribed to conferences to allow for weak security. (Public feeds also available from Home Page conferences). News Syndication
- Syndication of news story items form a del.icio.us feed are being protoyped as a way of delivering news items to Technology short course home pages:
