The aim of this page is just to demonstrate various ways of getting several search engines displayed together, to encourage students to try out different search engines.
Note that the approach used in this demo will incur quite large downloads - each frame is loaded with a search engine homepage. It would be possible to optimise the page and only download a search engine homepage when the tab is opened for the first time.
Simply provide a panel that displays the home page for each search engine.
The Google homepage doesn't like being opened in the frame very much, but all the other examples seem to be okay, inclduign the loading of Google results in other examples.
This demonstrates how the same search term(s) can be automatically loaded in to each of the search engines.
Click on a link to load the same search query into several search engines at the same time: train times, library oswaldtwistle
This example allows the user to enter a search term and apply it across all the prespecified (by us) search engines at the same time.
